The Henry Moore is the site of work in progress from the ceramics & glass department. The exhibits are under construction building form and process to express some of the thoughts and ideas of work to be shown at the degree show in 2007. The department, by nature, is a disparate group, brought together by their material interests. At its heart lie the dynamic possibilities of uniting theory with form.

The works are concerned with a range of issues; old design and modern technology. The structural possibilities of clay. Testing the limits of glass. Adopting known methodology to create dynamic new works.

Imbued with reference to the vaults of tradition the work on show pays homage to craft. Building on old discoveries, forging something new.
